Autumn 2019 Inter-Sports Competition

In the autumn term Year Group inter-sports competitions took place with each class taking part in a timed assault course.  A stop watch was started as the first child began the course and was stopped when the last child finished.  The children took turns in hopping into hoops, scrambling over tables, pulling themselves along a bench, jumping over hurdles and crawling under a parachute.  It was lovely to watch each class support one another by chanting and cheering as loudly as possible. Every child thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt they had contributed effectively to their class overall time.  Congratulation to …

Chesterfield High School

Multi-Skills Sports Competition

On Friday 31st January 2020,  10 of our Year 2 children competed in a multi-skills competition at Chesterfield High School against 14 other primary schools from the local area. The children participated in a variety of activities including running, jumping and throwing. The children completed 15 different activities during the competition testing their skills, endurance and focus. Every child worked extremely hard and we were proud to have them represented our school. Forefield came 3rd overall out of 14 other schools which is a fantastic achievement for all those involved. An enormous well done to all of the children who took competed in the multi-sports competition this half term.
