Teaching Staff

I am Mrs Haney.  I am the Headteacher at Forefield Community Infant school. 

I am Mrs Pugh, Deputy Headteacher and Year 2 Co-ordinator.  I currently work with groups of children throughout the school.  I also run the lunch time Drama Club and I am a School Governor.

 

 

I am Mrs Tucker and I am the Foundation Stage Co-ordinator, which means that I am in charge of the youngest children in school. At the moment I am the teacher in our nursery.

I am Mrs MacRae, the Year 2 teacher for Class 8, with responsibility for Child Protection and maths.

 

 

I am Mrs Evans. I have been at Forefield Community Infant School for 11 years. I currently teach Class 3 in Reception and I am Co-ordinator of History and Geography.

I am Mrs O’Brien.  I have worked at Forefield Community Infant School for 8 years.  I am currently teaching Class 3 in Reception and I am the Co-ordinator for The Children’s University.

 

I am Mrs Flynn, the Year 1 teacher for Class 5, with responsibility for ICT. 

 

I am Mrs Murphy. I have been at Forefield Community Infant School for 9 years. I am a Year 2 teacher and Co-ordinate P.E. and Healthy Schools. I work closely with the P.E. department at Chesterfield High School, who help run so many extra curricular clubs e.g. Trampolining, Judo, Golf, Football etc. I am also a School Governor and an active member of Friends of Forefield Community Infant School (FFIS).

I am Mr Hall.  I am currently teaching Class 2 in Reception and I am the Co-ordinator for Art and Design, Design Technology and Gifted and Talented.  I also run the Lunch Time Art Club.

 

 

I am Mrs Hadwin. I work part time in a Year One class, job sharing with Mrs Maguire. I teach music throughout the school and run the singing and drum clubs. I am also responsible for our School Council.

 

 

 
 

I am Miss Oldham.  I am currently teaching Class 1 in reception. I am the Co-ordinator for International Links and share the responsibility for literacy with Mrs Maguire.  

 

I am Mr Robinson.  I am currently teaching Class 7.  I am the Science Co-ordinator and run the lunchtime football clubs for Year One and Two, and the Eco Club.

I am Mrs Dowd.  I am responsible for teaching Spanish throughout the school.  I visit each class for a short period, every Monday morning.

Non Teaching Staff

I am Mrs Gregory and I am the Secretary at Forefield Community Infant School. I have worked here for 6 years. Working in the school office, Mrs Ainsworth and myself are your first point of contact with school when you phone or visit.

I am Mrs Ainsworth, the School Bursar. I deal with the general running of the office and the school finances. I am a qualified first aider. I consider myself a very lucky person to work in such a good school with your lovely children.

I am Miss Dawes.  I am a Level 3 Teaching Assistant and I have worked at Forefield Infant School since 1991.  I am a qualified First Aider and currently work with groups of children throughout the school.  I run the school recorder club with Mrs McWilliam.

 

I am Mrs McWilliam and I am a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. I work in the Nursery. I am an active member of the Friends of Forefield Community Infant School (FFIS) and a qualified First Aider.

I am Mrs Boardman.  I am a Level 4 Teaching Assistant who co-ordinates our team of Support Assistants and shadow the ICT and SEN Co-ordinators. I am also the school’s Parent Support Advisor.

 

 

I am Mrs Gadie.  I am a Level 2 Teaching Assistant based in Class 2 in the morning and the Reception outdoor area in the afternoon.  I also help to run the Art Club with Mr Hall and Miss Dawes.
I am Mrs Kinnaird, but to the children who can’t remember or pronounce my name, I am known as ‘The Computer Lady’! I am a Level 2 Teaching Assistant and I am very fortunate to work in the schools first class computer suite.

 
I am Mrs Gerrard, a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who has been employed at Forefield Community Infant School for 10 years. I take small groups of children from Years 1 and 2 to help with their literacy skills.

 

I am Mrs Stones and I am a member of Forefield Community Infant School’s dedicated and friendly Welfare Team, who care for the children at lunch time.

I am Mrs Harvey and I am currently working in Class 7.

I am Mrs Bevin and I am a member of Forefield Community Infant School’s dedicated and friendly Welfare Team, who care for the children at lunch time.

I am Mrs Greenhow and for the last 8 years Forefield Community Infant School has been my second home! In the mornings and the afternoons I work with Mr Holmes cleaning our outstanding school and at lunch times I supervise the children in the dinner hall and in the playground.

I am Mr Holmes and I have worked with Mrs Greenhow at Forefield Community Infant School for 3 years. I carry out a range of cleaning duties and assist and deputise for the Premises Manager when necessary.

I am Mrs Mountford.  I am a Level 1 Teaching Assistant currently working in Class 6.
I am Mrs Porter and I am a member of Forefield Community Infant School’s dedicated and friendly Welfare Team, who care for the children at lunch time.

I am Mrs Cheetham.  I am a Level 1 Teaching Assistant currently working in Class 6.

I am Mrs Lindsay.  I am a Level 1 Teaching Assistant currently working in Reception and an active member of Friends of Forefield Community Infant School (FFIS).

 

I am Mrs Harvey. I am a Level 1 Teaching Assistant currently working in the Foundation Stage.
